Seeds & Seed Mixes
The first time a child tries growing from seed, success is a must if they are to develop a love for growing: there is nothing more disheartening for an excited child to find their seeds didn't germinate or were eaten by pests as soon as they sprouted. We have put together a fine collection of easy-to-grow seeds for kids to encourage little gardeners to develop their love for growing, and to teach them the rewards of having just a little patience. We also have a range of Seedball and Seedbom wildflower mixes, which have been specially chosen with kids in mind.
If you're new to gardening, or you're not sure what happens next, please visit our Gardening for Kids' Guide to Growing from Seed, where we go through how to plant, what to plant and how to look after your seeds long-term.
